Ciao, mi è stato proposto da una persona contattata per l'acquisto di
un oggetto, una modalità di pagamento a suo dire sicura per entrambi
ma che a me risulta nuova e dubbiosa..dove stà l'inghippo?..di seguito
le spiegazioni che mi ha inviato:

contact eBay and provide them all the necessary information, so they
can start the process right away. I will be needing your full name and
address for that. You will receive a notification from eBay shortly
after that, together with all the instructions to follow and the
invoice as well. Regarding the payment, you will be instructed to
deposit the money to eBay. They will hold and insure your money until
receipt of the phones in good condition. That is how their buyer
protection policy is working. As far as the seller concerns, i will be
glad to know that eBay has the possession of the money during the
delivery period. That is my insurance.
> As soon as i will have the confirmation from eBay that the funds
have been deposited to their, i will immediately start the shipping
process. The object will be delivered to your address in no more than
2 working days. You will be given a 5 days inspection period from the
day you receive the object at home. If you decide to hold the object,
then you will have to authorize eBay to release the funds to me, and
the transaction will be completed. If you will not be satisfied with
the phones, you will be able to send the phones back through the same
shipping company, and ask eBay to return the funds to you.

....è un tentativo di truffa?

...non conosco il sistema e quindi non so di cosa necessita..ma lui mi
chiede questo tipo di pagamento che mi sembra molto particolare..dice
che tutela tutte le controparti...

...ho letto un pò di Paypal..mi sembra di aver capito che tutela
l'acquirente solo per l'invio della merce ma non per la qualità della
stessa..ossia se ti arriva pacco vuoto od oggetto
malfunzionante?..apri controversia ma ho visto che alcuni sono rimasti
con pugno di mosche in mano... inoltre ti tutela fino all'importo che
il compratore ha sul suo conto..se dopo che ha inviato pacco vuoto lui
chiude conto rimani a mani vuote... così dicono...

Dovrebbe essere una mail del servizio di deposito a garanzia chiamato
Escrow ma controlla che le mail che ricevi provengano da ebay o siano
fasulle.
