SEC: Nasdaq Probes ImClone Stock Trading

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (News -
Websites) on Thursday said Nasdaq is investigation possible "suspicious"
trading of ImClone Systems Inc. (NasdaqNM:IMCL - News) stock prior to the
announcement of a regulatory approval of its cancer treatment, Erbitux.
"Nasdaq notified us that they are investigating and an initial investigation
did not turn up any evidence of a system glitch and they are looking into
what appears to be suspicious trading," SEC spokesman Herb Perone said.
The SEC's market regulation division is following the situation, Perone
said.
