Verena Minerals Corporation is a gold exploration company focused on
developing its highly prospective projects in Brazil. Active in mineral
exploration in Brazil since 1996, Verena, through its wholly-owned Brazilian
subsidiaries, controls over 100,000 hectares of exploration concessions
covering major mineralized belts Rio Grande do Norte, Tapajos and Tocantins
states.

Key properties include:

a.. The 7,609 Ha Volta Grande Gold Project in the Carajas mineral province
associated with the Tres Palmeiras greenstone belt. With over 20,000 metres
of drilling, Volta Grande hosts an historic 1.4 million ounce gold resource.
Work is underway to compile a NI 43-101-compliant resource estimate and
rapidly move the project toward feasibility.
b.. The 100%-owned Bonfim Gold Project, a former producer located in Rio
Grande do Norte State, where exploration is ongoing to confirm and upgrade
an historical resource estimate and test new target areas.
c.. The 100%-owned Patracinio Gold Project in Para State, Brazil's most
important gold region where over 6 million ounces of gold have been
produced. An estimated 1 million ounces of gold have been produced by local
miners on the 20,000 Ha Patracinio land package.
Verena is listed as VML on the TSX-V exchange, and has 51 million common
shares outstanding
